Flora and fauna survey
The Trust for Nature flora and fauna survey in 1999 recorded 50 bird, 157 plant and 3 lizard species on the block. Some new habitat areas were discovered in the north east corner of the second block with the major species Melaleuca uncinata, Eucalyptus incrassata and Allocasuarina muellerana. AGM and orchid survey 7-9 Oct 2022
Save the date! We will hold our AGM at Urimbirra this year on 8 October 2022 followed by an orchid survey. As always, we will use Bill’s Gully Hall as our base. More on that to come.
Hindmarsh Landcare planting 2 July 2022
After two years of COVID cancellations, the Hindmarsh Landcare planting weekend is back in 2022. On Saturday 2 July, 11,500 trees, shrubs, herbs and grasses will be planted at two sites near Dimboola. If you’re interested in participating, please register with Event Brite:
